The Church Council received nominations for many well-deserving individuals, and has selected Noreen Jacobson to be this year's honoree. Noreen is currently White Cross Chair for the American Baptist Women's Ministry and is an active member of the Board of Christian Mission. She graciously shares her artistic talents throughout the congregation - donating Christmas craft projects for the ABW fairs, baking and decorating beautiful cakes for many occasions, and made the beautiful banners that adorn the side walls of the sanctuary. Quoting from those who nominated her, Noreen "is the backbone of every project at FBC, Malden - an unsung hero - let's sing praises to her." ... "Our banners, posters, fund raising displays and other items have been the fruits of Noreen's labor. She works on White Cross, putting together The Witness, and so on. ...She is always there." ... "She is everywhere - whenever there is a need, wherever there is a project, Noreen is there - willing, smiling, and always able." Noreen is a true servant of the Lord!
