Thanksgiving Worship with Casa de Fe

Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord
 with my whole heart, in the company of the upright,
 in the congregation. Psalm 111:1 NRSV

"Gracias!" "Thank You!" It doesn't matter what language we speak, it is always good to give thanks to the Lord.  We will have the opportunity to express our gratitude in both English and Spanish as we worship with the congregation of Casa de Fe on Thanksgiving Sunday, November 20.

The Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will be held in Fuller Hall on the second floor of the Parish House (brick building beside our church building on Main St.)

We will be following the instruction of the Apostle Paul when he wrote: "as you sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, singing and making melody to the Lord in your hearts, give thanks to God the Father at all times and for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ" Ephesians 5:19-20.

I will bring the message that day in English and the Rev. Ricardo Franco, Pastor of Casa de Fe, will provide the Spanish translation.

As part of the worship, we will continue our tradition of presenting out financial pledge cards for next year, our Thanksgiving offering, as well as our Ingathering of food donations which will provide Thanksgiving dinners for clients of Housing Families, Inc. Following the service, everyone is invited to share in a meal.  We are asked to provide desserts.
