High above the Sanctuary is the Octagon Skylight which allows sunlight to come into the Sanctuary Hall. While it is a big source of natural light from the sky, the design itself has full of symbolism. The Circle suggests eternity having no beginning or end, The Cross is symbolic of the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, The Crosslet signifies the spreading of the news of the resurrection, The Octagon is symbol of regeneration, Red Color reminds us of the blood of Christ that was shed for all our sins, and the Square, a symbol of solidness, dating to when the earth was thought to be flat and had four corners, spoken as "the corners of the earth". At the vaulted ceiling high above the sanctuary are the purple windows. The window is circular and comprised of eight daisy shaped petals with a cross beyond. Purple for majesty, Daisy for innocence, Eight for regeneration, and the Cross for the atoning death of Christ. Sunday morning is a great time to worship in the Sanctuary. One reason is because the hall is well lighted. As shown, both natural and electric lights do their fair share of bringing in enough light for everyone's heart content. As you enter the Sanctuary and find yourself seated comfortably, one of the things you normally do is glance at the ceiling. This is what you can see, the Octagon skylight, the majestic arch, marble pillars, and a lot more. It is one thing to see this picture, seeing it actually for yourself would be another.
