Layperson Of The Year 2014

David and Dottie Latta are voted Layperson of the Year 2014.   This year we have a couple, a husband and wife team, who are always willing to go that extra mile for the cause of Christ and good of the church. With the majority vote of the congregation under the auspices of the Church Council, they are granted this award with a lunch fellowship on Sunday, June 1, 2014 after the worship service. David and Dottie are members of the Diaconate and are faithful in serving during Communion Sundays.  Together they can be seen as frequent Lay leaders during the worship service by reading the Scripture,  greeters during our worship services and coffee hour hosts afterwards . Just about any work the church asks for, they are there and gladly volunteer their time in doing  jobs from washing cups after coffee hour to lifting furniture during change in worship venue.   David and Dottie, congratulations and praying for your continued service and support for Christ and His Church.
