Report of the Pastor

As I review my calendar and notes from 2011, I observe that it was another busy year in the life of First Baptist Church of Malden.

One of the highlights was the development and implementation of a program for our 4th to 8th graders using funds received from the Judson Baptist Association.  This program offered our youth opportunities to learn about, reflect on and respond in Christian love to three specific needs in our community.  It was one way our congregation followed up to a new city-wide reading program, Malden Reads, that began in January 2011.  More information is provided in the Board of Christian Education report ... more>

What do Stewardship and
Thanksgiving have in common?
A few hundred years ago, immigrants
to this land from England,  thankful for
surviving their first year, with the help
of the natives, held a feast. Today, we
