We welcome Rev. Doreen Freeman as guest Preacher today. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in UMass, Boston (B.A.). Upon receiving a call from God to the ministry, she continued her schooling and completed her Masters in Divinity in Andover Newton Theological School. Doreen went on to become the Pastor of The Community Baptist Church, Medford, MA. for 15 years from 1993 until her retirement in 2008. Going back to First Baptist Church, Malden, the church she considers home, she continues to be active in the choir, singing as soprano, teaching children Sunday school, reading scriptures on worship services, and is involved in church leadership through different Boards and Committees.
