* We Welcome The Rev. Bhim B. Gurung as guest preacher today. Rev. Gurung grew up in an orthodox Buddhist family in Nepal. As a teenager, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord. God gave him a vision to reach out to the Nepali people with the zeal to save lost souls. He received Biblical and theological education in Nepal, the United States and Canada to equip himself for the Lord’s ministry. He also has standing as an American Baptist Ordained Minister with the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts.
Rev. Gurung has founded and pastored churches in Nepal and Somerville, MA. His congregation, The First Nepali Baptist Church, recently started sharing space with us. Rev. Gurung also has helped people find jobs and provided medical and legal interpretation for Nepal and Hindi speaking people.
