The King of Glory Album 1 is a collection of twenty hymns used as Prelude and Postlude to the Worship Services of First Baptist Church of Malden, MA. played by Ms. Marilyn Glover. Marilyn took over the role as organist and pianist soon after the passing of Robert K. Love on September 21, 2002. The Skinner Organ still performs well as noted with its majestic sound for over a hundred years since installed in year 1915. It is our hope that these music will minister and quiet the soul. When each listener has found comfort and peace with God, then this work has served its intended purpose.
Ms. Marilyn Glover is the official organist of First Baptist Church of Malden, MA. Since the church’s sound
recording system is not being used at the moment, her extra work of recording the music with her own device
has made her a sound specialist as well. Praise God for the gifts bestowed on her.
All music, some familiar to most hymn lovers are licensed for public exhibition. The majestic Skinner organ
was the gift of Mr. and Mrs. Costello Converse after the church building was gutted by fire in the early
morning of February 17, 1915. Just over a hundred years old but still is actively played during the church’s
worship services.
All hymns are played during the Covid 19 Pandemic spring and summer months of 2020. Audio and Video
