Dear Members and Friends,
It was wonderful to attend the annual Carol Festival once again held at our church. After a hiatus due to the pandemic it was thrilling to welcome so many guests to the pews and singers to the choir loft. The combined choirs, including special music from our tenant churches, was truly inspiring.
As the world around us continues to face conflict between nations, I take renewed comfort in this sentiment from a well-known hymn:
O come, desire of nations, bind
In one the hearts of all mankind
Bid Thou our sad visions cease
And by Thyself our King of peace.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.
As December 24th is a Sunday, we will have two services that day: regular morning worship at 11:00 a.m. and a Christmas Eve service at 7:00 p.m. led by Pastor Gary.
A Christmas Offering envelope is enclosed in the mailed letters. If you feel led to make a special financial gift to the church in honor of Christ’s birth, please mail check to the church office or place in the offering plate during morning worship.
May Christ be born again into each of our hearts this Christmas season. Merry Christmas and Rejoice!
