Dear Members and Friends,
As the increase in daylight and the warmer temperatures hints at the coming of spring weather, so we ourselves anticipate the coming Easter season. It continues to be very rewarding to share this journey with Maplewood Baptist Church as we gather for worship each Sunday. Pastor Gary’s sermon series on “Real Hope” provides ongoing reminders of our individual and shared experiences in Christian faith. As we read in 1 John:
“Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. All who have this hope in Him purify themselves, just as He is pure.” (1 John 3:2-3)
Although it’s not a part of the upcoming Holy Week events, we are hosting a church work day on Saturday April 1, at 10:00. All are welcome to help maintain and ready our building for a full schedule of upcoming events:

. Friday, April 7 – 7:00 pm – Community Good Friday Service – Freedom Hill Community Church, 77 Kennedy Drive, Malden
. Sunday, April 9 – 9:30 am – Continental Breakfast in FBC
. Sunday, April 9 – 11:00 am – Resurrection Sunday Worship
We hope you will be able to participate in some of these events. Sunday morning worship services are also available live via Zoom, or as audio and video recordings posted online afterward.
A special envelope has been enclosed in the mail should you wish to make a special Easter offering to support the mission and ministry of our church.
