Matt Houk. August 27, 2023
We welcome Matt Houk to our pulpit today. Matt serves as the director of youth and family ministries and on the leadership team member at Maplewood Baptist Church. He has been serving at Maplewood with his wife, Amanda for 12 years. Matt works full time as a special education teacher at Hopeful Journeys in Beverly, MA. Prior to this he attended Southeastern Bible College where he earned a degree in Bible and Theology with an emphasis in Youth Ministry and Education. Matt and Amanda are licensed foster parents in Massachusetts and specialize in working with at risk teens. Matt’s passions in ministry include discipling teens, leading retreats, and outreach work in the community.
