Call to Worship & Invocation
Hymn: “Just As I Am” Words: Charlotte Elliott, 1835, Music: WOODWORTH by William B. Bradbury, 1849
Just as I am — without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bidst me come to Thee —
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am — and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot —
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am — though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt,
Fightings and fears within, without —
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am — Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe—
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Scripture: Matthew 26:3-5, 14-16, 17-25, 30, 47-56; 27:1-10

Prayer
Hymn: “Go to Dark Gethsemane” Sung by Richard Freeman Words: James Montgomery, 1820, Music: REDHEAD by Richard Redhead, 1853
Go to dark Gethsemane, Ye that feel the tempter’s power;
Your Redeemer’s conflict see, Watch with Him one bitter hour;
Turn not from His griefs away; Learn of Jesus Christ to pray.
See Him at the judgment hall; Beaten, bound, reviled, arraigned;
See him meekly bearing all! Love to man his soul sustained!
Shun not suffering, shame, or loss; Learn of Christ to bear the cross.
Benediction
