* We welcome our guest preacher, Rev. Dr. Mar Imsong to our pulpit today. Rev. Imsong is the Executive Director of Massachusetts Baptist Multicultural Ministries (MBMM). Its mission is to advocate, celebrate and empower new Americans. Rev. Dr. Mar Imsong is originally from Nagaland in northeast India. He holds a doctoral degree (Th.D.) in Social Ethics from Boston University School of Theology. Mar is a trainer, coach, mentor, public speaker and preacher. With him is his wife, Bendangla who is his co-minister and also works as a pre-school teacher. Mar has one daughter, Aren, and two sons Stephen and Kirs. Aren and Stephen are college graduates and presently are employed. Kirs, the youngest, attends school in UMass Amherst. Mar’s extra activities are gardening and fishing which he enjoys very much.
