The Rev. Annie Louise Belmer

We welcome to our pulpit the Rev. Annie Louise Belmer currently serving as Moderator (2020-2022) and member of TABCOM Board of Directors (2021-2023). Rev. Belmer is also the Associate Pastor of Zion Baptist Church in Lynn, Massachusetts.

Rev. Belmer, is a graduate of Andover Newton Theology School in May 2016 and an ordained Christian Minister for over 20 years serving in various capacities in churches, social ministries, social and human service organization. While doing all these she pursued community leadership, became an author, biblical educator, and talk show host.

Rev. Belmer plantedĀ  the Galilee Ministries, a multi-diverse, faith-based, non-profit religious organization, in October 2009 and serves as its Pastor. She is also employed by Essex County Community Organization working with 35 churches on the North Shore of Massachusetts on social justice, immigration, criminal justice, economic justice all creating a just and beloved community.

Rev. Belmer is a gifted prophetic preacher and believes that preaching should be both contemporary and traditional made relevant for all people. She loves teaching the Word of God through bible study, bible interpretation and hermeneutics which is one of her most fulfilling gifts. She is a prayer warrior, as it is written in James 5:16 “the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much.”
