Dear Church Family Members:

Christmas this year will be very different for most of us.  Many of us may limit the number of those with whom we meet in person to celebrate Christ’s birth.  We will not celebrate Christmas Eve together at the church, but there will be a recorded service for those with internet access.

While our living circumstances have changed dramatically this year, the message of Christmas – the gift of God’s Son to the world as HOPE, PEACE and LOVE – is needed even more.  I hope and pray that you will find ways to welcome the Christ Child into your lives and homes again this year in ways that are safe for everyone.

Remember the message of the angel to the shepherds:

“Do not be afraid.  I bring you good news that will cause great joy for
all the people.  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to
you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
Luke 2:10-11 NIV.

During this confusing and uncertain time, may the angel’s message give us strength to conquer our fears.

In your mail, an envelope is enclosed if you would like to give a special offering in honor of Christ’s birth.

Merry Christmas!

Rev. Martha Dominy
