Helen M. (Sweeney) Fleet of Saugus, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on July 15, 2018 in Melrose Wakefield Hospital. She was 83 years old. Born in Jamaica Plain section of Boston, Helen lived in Everett for most of her life before settling in Saugus with her daughter, Donna.
Beloved wife of the late M. James Fleet, devoted mother of Susan E. Kelly and her husband, William of Rowley and Donna L. Frati and her husband, Thomas of Saugus. Dear sister of Donna L. Harrill and her husband, James W. of Westford, Barbara A. MacDonald of Canton, Nancy L. Sweeney of Hudson and the late Shirley L. Latham and Edward A. Sweeney. Loving grandmother of Allison and Samantha Kelly and Thomas and Christina Frati.
Helen spent here Sundays singing in the choir and served faithfully in various functions as member of First Baptist Church of Malden, MA.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend Helen’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT on Friday, July 20 from 4-8 p.m. The funeral service was held in the First Baptist Church of Malden, 493 Main St., Malden at 10 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen’s memory is sincerely appreciated if given to the First Baptist Church of Malden.
