Blanket Sunday on Mother’s Day, May 12, 2019. The American Baptist Women’s Ministries of First Baptist Church, Malden is once again sponsoring Blanket Sunday. Each $5.00 gift enables someone in need to receive a blanket of warmth. If you would like to give a blanket in memory or in honor of a loved one, please fill out the form which is available in the worship service bulletin every Sunday. Please make check payable to First Baptist Church of Malden and place it in the offering plate or send it to the church office. All orders must be received by Wednesday, May 8 to be included in the Mother’s Day honor roll.
Church Family Members: Our Boy Scout Troop 603 is again supplying the flowers for the Sanctuary on Easter morning. Each plant is $10 each. The troop needs the orders by this Sunday, April 7. If you would like to order a plant either to take home with you after the service, or to be given to a shut-in, please feel free to use the form below. (This form will also be in the worship bulletin on April 7.) If you are not able to submit the form and payment by this Sunday, please contact the church office (781-324-2745 x300 or fbcmalden@verizon.net) with the number/type of plant(s) you wish to order, so that may be included in the total order. Converse (Masonic) Lodge will hold a special meeting open to quests (men and women invited) on Saturday, March 16 in Wakefield Masonic building, 370 Salem St., Wakefield, MA.
